Hello!

My name is Tiffany Handshoe Bachman (Handshoe is my maiden name which I just cannot give up) and I began this blog in 2009 out of pure infatuation with all things food. It began as a way to record my poetic eating experiences and push my cooking boundaries. It is now a journal recording my life as a short-order cook for my two lovely children and husband.

I was born and raised in small town Ohio and became a grown up in Chicago and New York City.

As an advocate of local businesses and good, clean, fair food, I’m on a mission to incorporate both consistently in my cooking and dining adventures.
