Pumpkins & Peanuts: It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!

If you’ve been wondering, like I have, when It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown will be airing, here you go: Tuesday, October 27th and Wednesday, October 28th at 8pmE/7C on ABC.

Now I don’t know about you, but this technically kicks off the holiday season for me. I remember watching this cartoon special, along with all of the claymation Christmas shows and of course, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, since I was a wee little tot. I adore these classic motion pictures, no matter how commercial they are, and hope they continue to air forever and ever. They bring back feelings of excitement, safety, love and family… and I cannot wait to share this particular Charlie Brown classic with my daughter for the very first time. I am also particularly fond of Charlie Brown because my husband often says things like ‘Good grief!’ and ‘Rats!’ when he’s trying to hold in a curse word. He’s such a good boy.

So make yourself some hot cider, pop some corn and enjoy the show. Get ready for a fun, tasty season.
